(its owners, associates, agents and employees) give notice they assume no responsibility for injury, thefts, pilferage, and failure of any means of resulting directly or indirectly arising form caused by any tour in Costa Rica. We are not responsible for acts of God, detention, annoyance, delays, and expense which cause loss of life, personal injury cancellations, and delays. Changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well being of Bahia Aventuras S.A. We cannot be held liable for quarantine in convenience to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, government restrictions or regulations, discrepancies or change in transit or hotel service, or damage to person or property in connection with any service. This also includes same bookings, loss or damage of baggage, and / or any loss of services as a result of the tour participants. With advance deposit to Bahia Aventuras S.A. or any of its agents, the depositor therefore agrees to be bund by the above terms and conditions.
MEDICAL AND HEALTH SERVICE
Guests with particular health conditions and / or handicaps should let know to Bahia Aventuras S.A. staff about them before arrival to tours. This is due to the fact that guest’s will be at times during their trip (s), in some remote places in Costa Rica. They should tell us so we can start making arrangements for any emergencies if ever become necessary to do so. Staff carries a fully-stocked first aid kit. In certain circumstances, evacuation could be prolonged, difficult, expensive or impossible. Guests should take special care. In case of illness, hospital facilities for serious problems are excellent in Costa Rica and Bahia Aventuras S.A. assumes no liability for costs of evacuation or provision of medical care.
We strongly recommend that trip participants purchase short-term travellers insurance, covering baggage, and accident/life and trip cancellation. This insurance coverage is widely available in the U.S. and other countries. Ask your travel agent. It is not available in Costa Rica.
RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLING TRIPS
Bahia Aventuras S.A. reserves the right to Cancel or Reschedule any trip due to:
Insufficient Sign Ups and / or uncontrolled natural reasons or disasters.
In the event of such cancellation, those with reservations shall be notified as soon as possible and a full refund of payments will be given. Bahia Aventuras S.A. and participating agents are not responsible for any expenses incurred for non-refundable air tickets, equipment, medical costs, etc.
Refunds are usually given under these circumstances:
100% – of total amount only if insufficient sign ups and / or uncontrolled natural resources or disasters or if reservation is cancelled with 30 days.
50% – of total amount if the services are cancelled with less than 15 days, before tour date.
0% – of total amount if the services are cancelled 48 hours or less time, before tour date or ¨no show¨.
Bahia Aventuras S.A. and its designated representatives reserve the right to disqualify any person as member of any trip or tour, should such person’s actions or general behaviour impede the operation of the trip or the rights of welfare or enjoyment of other members on the trip. Refunds are usually given under these circumstances. When a refund is granted, it is agreed that the refund will not cover any of the services provided before the reason of the disqualification.
- All reservations must be confirmed by some sort of guarantee; such as Credit Card authorization form or bank deposit in our account. Payments must be made in U.S. dollars, Euros, and we accept Visa, and MasterCard credit cards.

Bahia Aventuras S.A. will not disclose any of your personal information to third parties. All information we receive from you will be used only to confirm your vacation package or itinerary and at times to let you know about our services. All credit card information received from our clients is sent by the customer through a secure socket layer credit card form that is encrypted to insure maximum security for our customers. We do not sell your data to third parties.
